With immediate effect, the KP300 Basic mono PN is released for delivery.The operator device series of low-cost SIMATIC HMI Basic Panels is ideally suited for the use in compact applications. Until now, it included devices from 4" to 15" with consistent HMI basic functionality across all display sizes. Newly available is the KP300 Basic mono PN with monochrome 3.6" display.The display with a resolution of 240 x 80 pixels offers optimal readability and comes with an LED backlight that can be set to show white, green, red or yellow color. This color adjustment is also possible for individual operating screens and the plant states associated with them (such as alarms) so that additional components for an optical signaling may not be necessary.The operation takes place via 10 system keys and 10 function keys, with the latter being configurable. Entries made using the keypad follow the principle of mobile phones and thus enable quick and intuitive inputs.
