The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C8L1 is a PanelView 1000 color terminal. It features a 10-inch color active matrix thin film transistor (TFT) display with a touch input. It also has 384 touch cells and a touch actuation rating of 1,000,000 presses. Its display area is 8.3 x 6.2 inches and it comes with a 640 x 480 resolution. The screen has a backlight installed that has a minimum half lifespan of 50,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius and that is also field replaceable. The 2711-T10C8L1 terminal can be modified and navigated using the 2711-ND3 PanelBuilder 32 software.

A 1008 KB non-volatile flash memory for application objects, bitmaps, and texts and a 310 KB application runtime memory are available with this terminal. It also supports additional memory via ATA memory cards. A real-time clock, which is battery-backed and has a user-replaceable memory, is also present and it timestamps all critical data. Two communication ports are present with this terminal and these are a DH Plus (DH+) communication port and an RS-232 printer port. The 2711-T10C8L1 terminal is a DC powered terminal with an 18 to 32 Volts DC input voltage and a 24 W maximum power consumption. Its operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and its non-operating temperature range is from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. The terminal also has a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 95% at 0 to 55 degrees Celsius.
