The Allen-Bradley 2711-T9A3 terminal is part of the discontinued PanelView 900 series of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs.) These terminals allow the operator to interact with the machines attached to the 2711-T9A3. A 9-inch (23-centimeter) monochrome screen on the terminal displays information. The user can establish a network on the HMI using PanelBuilder 32 software and following the DH-485 protocol. An RS-232 printer port and a 1747-UIC cable are the conduits through which the data is relayed. The 2711-T9A3 has a touchscreen and a keypad, and the internal backlight is replaceable.
