From August 17th to 19th, the VICPAS team embarked on our highly anticipated annual team-building retreat in Yingde. The experience was filled with unforgettable moments, deep connections, and a shared sense of adventure that left us all buzzing with excitement.

Day 1: Arrival and Aquatic Adventures

Our journey began with a scenic drive to Bao Dun Lake Resort. Upon arrival, the beauty of the surroundings immediately captured our hearts. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the private river channel, where we dove into the crystal-clear waters. The thrill of swimming in the 1.3 km long, pristine river channel, with its serene and secluded environment, provided a perfect start to our retreat. Laughter echoed as we splashed around, and any stress we had simply washed away.

Day 2: Tea Culture and Moonlight Celebrations

The second day began with a leisurely morning at Qi Lake Hotel, where we enjoyed a rich breakfast buffet, setting a relaxed tone for the day ahead. We then headed to the Tianhu Tea Garden, where the sprawling, emerald green tea fields spread out before us, like waves in an ocean. Guided by local tea artisans, we learned about the traditional tea-making process, from picking the leaves to the final product. This experience was more than educational; it was a tranquil escape into nature that allowed us to connect with the roots of one of China’s most beloved traditions.

In the evening, the excitement continued at Moonlight Valley with a BBQ dinner and a bonfire party. The air was filled with the aroma of grilled delicacies as we gathered around the fire. The evening turned into a celebration, with everyone singing, dancing, and sharing stories under the night sky. The camaraderie was palpable, making this one of the most memorable moments of the trip.

Day 3: Thrilling Rafting and Farewell

Our final day was packed with adrenaline. The journey took us to Bijiashan, where we faced the exhilarating challenge of rafting down its infamous rapids. As our rafts plunged through the tumultuous waters, the mix of fear and exhilaration was electrifying. The rapid pace and sudden drops demanded teamwork, and as we navigated through the course, the trust and support within the group only grew stronger.

As we returned, there was a shared sense of achievement and a deepened bond among all of us. This team-building retreat wasn’t just about the picturesque landscapes or thrilling activities; it was about coming together, overcoming challenges, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. VICPAS is more than just a company; we are a family, and this retreat reminded us of the strength and unity that we share.
